is carefully fermented and dried. Sugar used is Coconut Blossom Sugar (subject to availability) Level of the program is for Hobbyists and Home makers and budding Chocolate enthusiasts using available home equipment’s You will also learn to cook delicious Kerala Palappam and Kerala Idiappam with suitable Vegetarian or Vegan Curries along with Courses start all days except Saturdays

Check-in followed by light lunch
Leisure time
Training on how to make the Appam Dough
Training on how to roast the cacao beans in home style and learn how to make the cacao nibble
Dinner
After dinner start to grind the cacao beans and story time.
Day two
Breakfast
Work on Appam Dough , learn to temper the chocolate and pour into moulds
Make the Appam and Curries
Lunch
Tour of the local attractions: the pineapple market, and dark chocolate making factory
River ride along the Muvattupuzha River in a punting boat.
Cooking session of the Idiappam and Curries
Dinner.
Day three
Dark Chocolate tasting and wrapping session
Breakfast and farewell with Chocolates in Hand

Please Note :Accommodation is offered in our garden bungalows throughout the year. In keeping with the eco-friendly values of The Pimenta, the
bungalows and communal spaces are fitted with ceiling fans. Our Bungalows are in the shade created by the trees
Courses are suitable for everyone who is interested in Indian cooking. Their level of knowledge or expertise can be any and will involve demonstrations as well as hands-on participation. We are limited to a maximum number of eight participants and there is no minimum. Guests travelling by themselves ought to be aware of and comfortable with the possibility of being in a one-on-one situation.
