Looking to uncover the midland while leaving plenty of time for relaxation and
good food? Kerala Experience provides a varied itinerary over the course of
five days (four nights) that showcases the best of Kerala cuisine and guides you
around the very best sights in the midlands.
Itinerary
Day 1: Light lunch at The Pimenta followed by a guided tour of the region on
foot. Guests will gain an insight into the look of the midlands and the type of
vegetation and spices that grow here. Dinner served at The Pimenta.
Day 2: Guests will be picked up after breakfast and taken by car to a local tea
plantation where they will be able to explore on foot the surroundings. In the
afternoon, guests have the option of shopping in town or enjoying a hands-on,
vegetarian cooking session.
Day 3: After breakfast, guests will be taken around some of the most sacred
religious monuments, including the Syrian Christian Church and a Hindu
temple. After a light lunch, guests will continue their exploration of the
surrounding village and be introduced to a variety of local businesses, including
the rare lorry-painting factory. Optionally this can be a day of relaxation and
enjoy a massage in an Ayurveda centre in the afternoon .
Day 4 :After a good breakfast of local produce guests can enjoy a beautiful
drive through the countryside to enjoy a backwater cruise for 3 hours with a
packed picnic lunch. Drive back to enjoy dinner at The Pimenta
Day 5: After Breakfast, you can proceed to your next destination.
