  • Introduction to the history of Kerala cuisine and a look at the utensils, ingredients and techniques we will be using
  • Presentation on spices; the how and the why
  • Dinner

  • Tour of the local markets and significant places of worship
  • Boat trip along the Moovattupuzha River
  • Dinner

Day three

  • Breakfast
  • Cooking session
  • Lunch
  • Further exploration of local food industry
  • Visit lorry-decorating workshop
  • Dinner

Day four

  • Breakfast
  • Cooking session
  • Lunch
  • Visit to tea plantation and tour of local spices
  • Dinner

Day five

  • Breakfast and farewell
