Terms and Conditions

All reservations at The Pimenta (Haritha Farms) are handled directly by the host family. Submitting an enquiry via our website does not constitute a guaranteed booking or financial obligation. A reservation is officially confirmed only after availability is validated in writing and the required deposit is received.

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required upon confirmation of availability to secure your stay and programme dates. The remaining balance (70%) is payable prior to or upon arrival at The Pimenta via bank transfer (INR/international), major debit/credit cards, or UPI.

All deposits (30%) are strictly non-refundable. In the event of travel plan alterations or unforeseen cancellations made at least 14 days prior to arrival, the full deposit amount may be adjusted against a future booking by the same guest within one calendar year of the original check-in date, subject to room and programme availability.

The Pimenta provides a secure, private farm environment; however, guests are responsible for their personal belongings, valuables, and travel insurance. The Pimenta and Haritha Farms accept no liability for loss, theft, damage to personal property, or personal injury sustained during self-guided walks or unescorted activities.

Our kitchen is 100% vegetarian. We accommodate vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and Jain dietary preferences when notified in advance during booking. Guests with severe allergies or medical conditions must inform us prior to arrival so appropriate kitchen prep precautions can be taken.

Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in fulfilling stay obligations due to acts of God, extreme monsoon disruptions, natural disasters, epidemics, civil unrest, or governmental restrictions. In such circumstances, booking deposits will be credited towards a future stay valid for 18 months.

The Pimenta is a working family spice farm. We request all guests to respect the tranquil natural environment, local village culture, flora, and fauna. Quiet hours begin after 10:00 PM to ensure restful stays for all guests.
